We just returned from a visit to the Land of Disney. We had a blast! It was the first time we have gone with only one child. It was a celebration of 11 delightful yearsof Cammy in our lives. My mom generously lent us her beautiful Honda Accord (35 miles to the gallon) and we drove straight through. One of the smoothest road trips we've ever had to California. No orange barrels:) So enjoy a tour with Cammy of some of her favorite spots and characters.
Last week some festive friends of ours (Coral and Jewell) hosted acelebration in honor of Court's and Coryn's upcoming graduation from the University. The theme revolved around Johnny Depp Characters. Games, fabulous food and lots oflaughter. Couldn't be a better way to celebrate these gals:)
Variety Show on Opening Night (circa 1980). Check out the flattering costume, the "Farrah" hair and the mic w/cord.
In Thornton Wilder's play "Our Town" the lead character, Emily, is given the opportunity to go back in time and revisit a day from her life. I've often thought about which day I would choose. There are many. I do know that if I could revisit a summer it would be The Sundance Summer. The summer that I closed many doors and opened many new ones. The summer that defined and shaped me and sent me into my future. The summer where dreams and goals were met and new ones were set on paper. The summer that led me to the happiness I now enjoy.
Coryn received her call to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will serve in the PARIS FRANCE MISSION and reports to the MTC on October 20th. We are all so excited! Her father served in that same mission over 30 years ago! Coryn will be a wonderful missionary and I have no doubt she will bless many lives.
